This is a new picture of Dumbledore, played by Richard Harris. His dress and makeup seem pretty on target.
Here's a picture from Charms Class with Professor Flitwick, played by Warwick Davis (Willow). If you think it's odd that he's so small, it does say in the books that Flitwick was so tiny he had to stand on a pile of books just to teach his classes. This is also from the same scene that is in the trailer, where Hermione is doing a spell and looking back at Ron. Who are all these other people? I believe the one on the far left may be Dean Thomas, but besides that I don't know. I'll have to check back in the books and see who Gryffindor had Charms with.
A nice picture of Harry with Hedwig at King's Cross Station.
A cool picture of Hagrid.
I believe this is when Hagird is preparing to take Harry, Malfoy, and Fang
into the Forbidden Forest. That leads us to my favorite picture yet.........
This is when Harry, Draco, and Fang go off into the Forbidden Forest in search of a fallen Unicorn. If this is any indication of the atmosphere these movies will have, I love it.
This is a neat picture of
Professor McGonagall on a Hogwarts stairwell. So far I like the way they're
making Hogwarts look.
This is a great picture of Harry, Ron, and the rest of a large class. That must be Malfoy to their left, and could that be Neville in the background on the right? I wonder who's class this is. It couldn't be Snape's since there are windows, and his class is in the dungeon. Wherever it is, it seems to be from the same scene of a previous publicity still with Harry and Ron (further down this page), where they appear to be frightened for some reason.
This is a picture of Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and Dudley. Uncle Vernon turned out looking better than I had originally thought. Dudley's hat looks a bit odd, but it is a publicity still after all.
This is Harry when he's getting the hundreds of "Letters From No One." I think they did a good job here. The Dursley's are appropriately horrified. And, note the inside of the house, which is just exactly how I thought it looked like.
A very cool picture outisde. Hermione look great, although Harry's hair still looks weird. This is probably the scene where Harry is getting on the broom to challenge Malfoy. See anyone in the pic that looks like Malfoy? The boy in between Harry and Ron to the left looks too small. Do you think you recognize anyone else? Post any ideas on the Movie Board.
This is Hermione being sorted, grinning broadly. Lets direct our attention to the teachers. The only one I can't even make a guess at is the one on the far left. Please let me know your ideas about this on the board. Next to him, I am definently hoping that that is Snape. If so, he looks really cool. The pale drawn face......Alan Rickman seems to have worked out well. Then there's the man that's slightly obscured, but I'm guessing that that is Quirrell, given that I think I can make out a turban on his head. Another great look. Of course, next to him is Albus Dumbledore, who looks really awesome, almsost perfect. If this is any indication of how the teacher casting went, I'm very impressed. Sorting Hermione would be McGonagall, who is played by Maggie Smith. I can't make out for sure what color her hair is, but I hope they dyed it to make her look younger. Moving on.......
A neat picture of Harry and Ron in Hogwarts. This is very close to how I would envision them.
The Castle
This is an awesome picture of Hagrid's Hut for the HP movie. It's somewhat unlcear of the location of the hut, but I think almost for sure that this is actually outside and not in a studio. Note the Forbidden Forest behind, which really seems to be just as J.K. describes it.
Hagrid

The Hogwarts Trophy Case
I believe this is in an Oxford Library. It is rumored to be used as the Howgarts Library.

Here's a great article on composer John Williams, who will be composing the music for the HP movie. From CountingDown.com.
As reported on soundtrackmag.com, Williams is still very much attached to the project, having just recently completed scoring and recording the music for the film's trailer, which will soon be seen in theaters. This is an unusual event in itself, as most trailers are scored with pre-existing music from other films or composed by specialty composers like John Beal, because trailers are produced long before the film's actual score is finalized. Williams' music composed specifically for the HARRY POTTER trailer will give viewers and listeners a rare chance to hear his approach to the film in advance, albeit modified for the commercial needs of the trailer. The film itself is scheduled to open November, 2001. As for his final score for the movie, reports are that director Chris Columbus and producer David Heyman are both "overjoyed with Williams' theme" and can hardly wait to hear his final score.
This is an article about Richard Harris, who will play Albus Dumbledore. He seems to be eccentric and smart in the same kind of way Dumbledore is. Click Here.
